- UC College of Engineering International Scholarship: This 2-year distance learning education program grants with $15,000 NZD per year (a little bit more than $10,000 USD) to its 30 winners. Applicants must have finished a distance learning education university entrance-level qualification that certificates them to be part of the UC undergraduate degree program before the closing date for applications for the scholarship.
- Kuching Malaysian Alumni Scholarship: This college education online scholarship distinguishes and supports brilliant students from the Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia, who are part of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Canterbury. Applicants must be natives from the Kuching Division, or have been to a primary or secondary school in the Kuching Division for at least five years. They must be residents of Malaysia; they cannot also be citizens of New Zealand or Australia, holders of New Zealand residence class visas, or Australian Permanent Residents. Applicants must have finished, or be finishing, a university entrance qualification. This $10.000 NZD grant is for one year.
- Auckland Council Chief Economist’s Research Scholarship in Economics: The principal motivation for this distance learning education scholarship is to aim and fund postgraduate research in urban economics or in a related field that has particular relevance to local government in New Zealand. Students must be part of a full-time program, this thesis must be related to The Auckland Plan, Auckland Council’s Unitary Plan or Economic Development Strategy. Each winner will get $2,000 NZD.
